Untul pamantului este folosit din Antichitate ca un puternic antireumarismal cu actiune rapida si puternica .Este cunoscut de asemeni pentru efectul in tratarea vanatailor.
Rol terapeutic: Umflături, vânătăi, lombosciatică,gută, spondiloză cervicală, Zona Zoster, deformăr iosoase, osteoporoză, artrită, cârcel, artroze, apă la genunchi, dureri musculare, gonartroze, degerături, dureri de menisc. dureri reumatice acute sau cronice
Mod de administrare:. Se agită sticla, după care se decantează un minut tinctura, se desface uşor dopul, lăsând să curgă filtrat. Cu soluţia astfel obţinută se frecţionează masând locul dureros, seara înainte de culcare ori chiar în cursul zilei numai atunci când doare şi unde doare.
Pentru efect mai rapid si mai puternic se recomanda folosirea impreuna cu crema de Untul pamantului si ardei iute
